Letter to Mu‘tamad, 1947
Regarding the property in Khalajrud of Kirmanshah, half of which belongs to the heirs of Salar Lashkar [her late husband]. The property has been illegally seized and her follow-ups have yielded no results. She suggests that either she buy the other heirs' shares and try to deal with Hamzah Mirza or that they buy her out.

Farkhundah Arvand writes to her husband, Muhammad Husayn Arvand, recounting the way she noticed a tumor in her breast, her visits to the doctors, the electrotherapy sessions, and her irritability because of all this. She describes the treatment cost in detail and her need for money. She mentions that she cannot ask her brother since he is not there and describes her conversation with Muhammad Shafi‘, his initial unwillingness to give her her husband's salary and ultimate approval of sending her half of the next month's salary. She continues by noting that she has also run out of that money...

From Malik Taj Najm al-Saltanah to her brother, ‘Abd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma and accompanied by an envelope; Najm al-Saltanah discusses visiting ‘Izzat al-Saltanah and the marriage and the wedding of her daughter, Daftari [Daftar al-Muluk] and Farmanfarma's son, Nusrat [Firuz Mirza Nusrat al-Dawlah], complains that Farmanfarma has not spent enough on the wedding, and discusses what Farmanfarma needs to do and what he should purchase in some detail.
